How To Tie A Knot When Finished Sewing?

Finishing with a knot! You have to tie a knot when finished sewing to secure your seam.

 1. Finished sewing. How to end it?

2. Place your needle straight at the ending point.

 3. Get ready to twist the thread.

 4. Twist the thread around the needle twice. If your thread is very fine, you may need to twist the thread around the needle five or six times to get a solid knot later.

5. Press the twisted part of thread with your left thumb. Your left index finger is support from the wrong side of fabric.

 6. Pull the twisted thread down the needle towards the eye and down the length of the thread.

 7. When it reaches the end, tighten it into a knot.

 8. You can trim off the thread after the knot. But I prefer to stitch through the ending point and pull the thread to the wrong side of fabric.

 9. Now you get a tiny knot. Trim off the excess thread.
