What is project's material mean by? Let me explain to you with the photos below.
This is one of our projects - Sunbonnet Sue Key Purse.
These are the material provided for you to complete the Sunbonnet Sue Key Purse. You will get fabrics, interfacing, batting, lace, rings, embroidery thread, zip and etc as shown in the photo.
Besides, you will get the written tutorial, project's pattern and a piece of photo CD inside the package as well.

Why called patchwork applique quilting kits?
You may hear about patchwork kits, applique kits or quilting kits before, but not "patchwork applique quilting kits", right?
The reason why I combine all these three techniques into one is simple. It's because most of our kits have to complete with patchwork, applique and quilting or either one/ two of them.
What kind of materials are inside the package?
The most important material definitely is fabric. There are few types of fabric that we always use for the projects, such as yarn-dyed, cotton, cotton linen and other fabrics. All the fabrics are made in Japan and United State. There are good quality and no need to prewash before sewing.
"Are you sure no need to prewash before the fabric is cut and sewn?" The answer is YES. Me and my teacher never prewash the fabric.
Some of you may worry that without prewash the fabric, the shrinkage or texture changes will occur when the project need to be laundered. As mentioned, the fabric are good quality. The fabric's stability is high and the shrinkage is minor after laundered.
Besides fabric, the material that always apply in the projects are interfacing and batting.
The purpose of interfacing is to thicken the fabric and make your project more stiff. While the batting is to make your project more stiff and also fluffy to touch. You going to use these two materials a lot in quilting.
The package will come along with other materials like zip, lace, button and etc according to the need of project.
Tutorial, Pattern and Photo CD
The instructions of tutorial are written in English and according to the steps in photo CD. Make sure you read the tutorial and photo CD simultaneously. The photo CD can play with desktop computer or laptop.
The patterns of the project are full-size, which means there is no need for a photocopier. Some of the projects have two or more pattern pieces, others have just one pattern piece and some projects simply use rectangles given as measurements within the project instructions.
